With Heimataerde-2004, a project geared from the outset beyond music with other art disciplines.
Meanwhile Heimataerde a dense mesh of music, visual art, design and narrative. Here’s a Fabric is woven from a variety of threads, which has become a image-, word, and tongewaltigem epic one hit by Templars and demons Middle Ages.
In particular, by the increased live activity of the past year, the group has a strong position as a more present stage act.
By topic and occurrence polarizes the band knows the fact but to make positive use. Heimataerde play no frontal–electric, but infiltrate the audience, communicate, build bridges and gain their audience with charm.
“What’s that?” The music and the story.
One thousand years darkness. The dark time. The Middle Ages, the Crusades is handed down to us today in such gloomy terms. If one believes, however, the descriptions of the band Heimataerde, our picture of that time should not be too colorful.
With the gloomy mix of EBM, Electro, brute electric guitar and unusual instruments like bagpipes and hurdy-gurdy cymbals the project Heimataerde much attention has been given since its inception in 2004. Templar, monsters and undead populate the music and the live performances of the band.
With minstrels and fair, the world of the Crusades, which records the project, but nothing to do. Heimataerde be a pantheon of undead templars and fanatics march in the name of God commit any crime against a backdrop Breughelschen hell that they seem useful for their purposes.
Through this gloomy scenario leads the narrator Ashlar of Megalon, an eternal wanderer and vampire, always looking for answers and a hidden truth. The disillusioned and deceived Knights Templar Ashlar leaves doubtful the protection of his bigoted Order and embarks on dark paths, out of desire, despair and his own search for the mythical “Heimataerde”.
cold Windwärts
Heimataerde pull cold Windwärts.
After the massive success of the previous album Godlike itself songwriter Ash has granted no relaxing winter sleep. The new plant cold Windwärts receives in films just the last forming hammer blows.
With cold Windwärts Heimataerde drive their own genre Middle Ages electric to new limits. Classic EBM rumbles like a black glacier under Jacques de Perigord Light Caster riffs, icy ambiences and crystal clear choirs lean as snowy cliffs on the handset – willing to give him a frosty fate. Bagpipes and electronic hurdy-gurdy melodies leave like snowflakes over the audience dancing and stain but at the end of innocent white in tainted red.
Heimataerde awaken this spring to life, and eager to present advance parts of the new material live.
